Full Text Of The Tentative Agreement

The document includes replacement language for several articles in the contract.

Today’s Negotiations Highlight

The SRCS and SRTA Negotiations teams met today, and signed a Tentative Agreement!

Please attend the Town Hall TOMORROW 3/28 @ Santa Rosa High School 4pm for all the details, and time for questions and answers.

Tentative Agreements Reached

Here are the big wins:
  • Salary:
    • July 2019:    3%
    • July 2020:    4%
  • Medical Benefit    
    • July 2019:    $750
    • July 2020:    $750
  • Dental            
    • July 2019:    $200
    • July 2020:    $0
  • Professional Development:
    • 2 days ongoing
  • Class size:     
    • Math 1: 28:1
      • High school - all grades
    • ELA 9th grade: 28:1
    • Science 9th grade: 28:1 ​

Next Steps

  • Watch your personal email for the full text of the TA. It will be shared as soon as it is available.
  • Vote in the ratification vote via personal email (dates TBA).
  • If we ratify this, then the SRCS Board and SCOE will need to approve it.

I am wondering if the 4% given in July 2020 will be based on our current salary or our July 2019 salary.

Yes, The 2020 salary increase will be based on the salary at the time (which will include the 2019 increase).
